Povzetek

A delay cholera model with Holling Type-II saturated incidence function and quarantine measure as intervention is formulated and dynamically analyzed with the  aim of investigating the effects of time delay and quarantine measure. Basic properties of the model are investigated, and two equilibria are found to be locally and globally asymptotically stable whenever the control reproduction number is below and above unity, respectively. Quarantine intervention is found to reduce the infectivity of cholera when fully implemented. Although time delay does not alter the qualitative dynamics of the model, how ever it decreases the burden of cholera when the delay is beyond a critical value. Numerical simulations are conducted to illustrate all our results .
